Zoë Durand is the founder of Mediation Answers. Zoë is a Nationally Accredited Mediator and Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner (FDRP) . She has a wealth of experience working as a lawyer for 15 years, primarily in family law, at the coalface of the family law system.
Zoë has also worked at leading national and international commercial law firms giving her a financial acumen which is highly desirable in family law property matters and as a Court Appointed Independent Children's lawyer, giving her a unique insight into the needs and perspectives of children in parenting family law matters.

Zoë has written the case notes for the NSW Law Society Journal and been featured in Lawyers Weekly, The Australian, ABC, SMH, 10Daily, Mamamia and A Current Affair.
She edited the most recent version of CCH's Master Family Law Guide and authored the highly publicised book Inside Family Law, which has been recommended by The Honourable Justice Peter Rose AM QC as a "must for all institutions teaching family law, for family lawyers or those going through the process firsthand." Inside Family Law is now on the recommended reading list of several universities.
